Schwab’s Famous Family Chili Cooking Instructions
In a large pot, pour 3-4 tablespoons of olive oil over high heat on the stovetop.
Place thinly sliced rib-eye steaks in a pot to brown.
Season liberally with freshly cracked salt and pepper
Add finely minced garlic to taste. We recommend using a large amount of garlic.
After the meat has browned evenly, reduce heat on stovetop to medium and add onions and bell peppers after dicing.
Allow veggies and meat to saute for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
After veggies saute, cube Schwab Brick Chili and add to Pot.
Stir continuously until they reach desired consistency.
Next, add the desired amount of red and kidney beans and stir in.
After pouring in roughly ½ cup of crushed tomatoes, add ½ to 1 cup of hot and spice V8, stir again.
Finally add 2 teaspoons of chili powder, 2 teaspoons of cumin, all to simmer for at least one hour, stirring occasionally
Before serving, thinly diced fresh tomatoes, white onions, and green onions for furnishing. Also, add shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream!
