The relationship between Schwab and Johnnie’s didn’t start in 1971 when the first Johnnie’s Charcoal Broiler opened. No. Johnny Haynes, founder of Johnnie’s, started getting Schwab franks and chili back in 1952 when he was the manager of the Split-T Restaurant in Oklahoma City.
When Johnny decided to open up his own local eatery, he knew exactly where he was going to get his fresh franks and chili – Schwab Meat Co. We share many of the same principles such as delivering outstanding quality, putting a focus on our customers and being family owned and operated.
